CUSTOM-MACHINED TREADS, THRESHOLDS, AND NAMEPLATES FOR YACHTS

Holt Marine Systems manufactures custom-machined decorative parts for use as treads, thresholds, or distinctive nameplates for yachts.

Treads can be used at the top of the boarding ladder to provide a reliable nonskid surface and to protect brightwork.

Each tread is machined from 6061 aluminum alloy.   The part is sandblasted to provide a textured surface to the relieved portion.  The top surface is then brought back to a smooth finish.  The finished part is anodized in clear, blue, gold, or black finish. 

For contrast, the top surface can be re-finished and lacquered to bring back the aluminum color for contrast.

The yacht’s name is machined using the customer’s choice of font.  Manufacturer’s logos can be included.  The tread can be manufactured to accommodate the ladder mounting hardware.
